Chobi Gyorgy is a world-renowned flying trapeze and hand balancing artist from Hungary . He studied at the world famous Hungarian Circus School and is the winner of the most coveted individual award in the circus world, “The Clown” from the Monte Carlo Circus Festival.

       
Eventually his teeterboard act joined the prestigious red unit of “The Greatest Show On Earth”, Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus. During this tour, Chobi developed a friendship with The Flying Espanas. Deciding he wanted to stay in the U.S., Chobi became the full time catcher for one of the best flying trapeze acts in the world. In 1990, the Espanas were awarded the Silver Crown at the Monte Carlo Circus Competition, one of the highest honors given in the circus world!

       
As a freelance performer, Chobi founded his own production company, which provides circus acts and rigging for all sorts of events. His freestanding rigs, of various heights, have enabled him to bring aerial acts to any venue (three of which are featured in the music video, From Egypt to Omaha. Chobi Gyorgy'senthusiasm and experience have brought us to new heights, literally and figuratively!
