Ellie Choate was born in Maine, started piano lessons at the age of 8 and graduated to the harp at 11. She took her Bachelors degree at CSU Fresno and then a Masters in Harp Performance at CSU Long Beach.

 

Ellie is currently the Pacific Regional Director of the American Harp Society. In addition to her performance schedule, she is on the adjunct applied music faculty at University College in Irvine, California. Ellie is a regular performer with the Welsh Choir of Southern California.
